Project Overview

Ka:’yu:’k’t’h’ / Che:k’tles7et’h’ First Nations (KCFN) is building the foundation for a data governance approach grounded in Nation values and modern treaty needs.

The project includes developing governance documents, forming a Data Governance Working Group, updating well-being indicators, and piloting privacy classifications.

This work puts clear structures in place for how data are managed, used, and protected across departments.
